Everything you need to know about our programs, our impact, and how you can help shape future-ready generations across Nigeria.
Create My Future Foundation (CMF) is a nonprofit organization in Nigeria dedicated to shaping future-ready generations. We help children and young people build the skills, confidence, and support systems they need to thrive — through education support, creative and performing arts, sports, life-skills development, and community support.
Our scholarship program currently supports children in their early years of schooling, while our creative and performing arts, sports, and life-skills programs — including our work with Slum2Stage Africa — engage young people from underserved backgrounds. Our community programs, such as Ramadan feeding, extend support to families across all ages.
CMF operates primarily in Nigeria, with classroom renovations in Jos and Abuja and community programs reaching underserved and low-income communities across the country. Our Ramadan meal distribution and humanitarian outreach extend care and support to families in need.
We offer four core programs: (1) Education Support — scholarships, school supplies, and practical assistance; (2) Arts, Sports & Life Skills — creative and performing arts, sports, and life-skills development in partnership with Slum2Stage Africa; (3) Community Infrastructure — improving school and community spaces; and (4) Humanitarian Outreach — Ramadan feeding, youth football, and inclusive community support.
You can support us through donations to sponsor scholarships, classroom renovations, or Ramadan meal distribution. We also welcome volunteers and partnership opportunities with organizations that share our vision for education and youth development.
We track measurable outcomes including number of students supported, classroom improvements, meals distributed, and young people trained in creative arts. We conduct regular school and home visits to monitor academic progress, attendance, and overall wellbeing, and collect feedback from parents, guardians, and teachers.
We work closely with Slum2Stage Africa for creative arts programming, the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) for infrastructure and educational quality, public schools for access and program participation, and local communities for sustainability and local engagement.
CMF envisions a world where every child and young person — regardless of background — can dream, learn, and build their future with dignity and confidence. We work to equip young people not only with access to education, but with the creativity, character, and life skills they need to navigate a rapidly changing world.
Yes. Our work aligns with the UNESCO Happy School Framework, promoting joyful, inclusive, and safe learning environments. We also contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, and 17 — addressing poverty, hunger, education, gender equality, decent work, and partnerships.
We welcome volunteers who can support our programs in various ways including teaching, mentoring, event coordination, and administrative support. Visit our Volunteer page to learn about current opportunities and how you can contribute your time and skills.
